Thyroid problems, including hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, can disrupt the growth of hair. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the body has too much thyroid hormone (hyperthyroidism), the hair on your head may start to thin out and become very fine.
