There are two main types of hereditary MTC:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2) :<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This is a group of disorders that affect several endocrine glands, including the thyroid, adrenal glands, and parathyroid glands. There are two types of MEN2:<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>MEN2A:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This is the most common type of MEN 2.
